When it comes to evangelism, some Christians are a bit intimidated and others weary. Some are intimidated because they are unsure how others will react. Some are weary because past efforts have met with indifference or flat out rejection. We need to remember this is nothing new as the Lord and the apostles faced the same challenges (Acts 17:32; Jn. 6:66).
The encouragement Paul gave that we need to keep in mind is to “sow to the Spirit” because our labor in the Lord is not in vain (Gal. 6:8, 9; 1 Cor. 15:58).
Our duty is to take action. Sow the seed and leave the rest between God and man (1 Cor. 3:6, 7). So, be determined to take action and ask one person to study the Bible before the next week is done.
