Tech Tip: Keep It Up To Date

Have you ever browsed a church’s website and felt like no one has touched it for a few years? This is glaring with the “latest sermons” are from 2 years ago. It screams, “we’re not really here.”

Website visitors want to see a sense of vibrancy, freshness, and activity. Those are signs of a living church. Outdated websites indicate deadness in a congregation (just like overgrown shrubs and weedy lawns or a building falling apart).

Keep the content up to date. If you cannot for some reason, it would be better to take the dates off the content posted rather than the “latest” be years old.
